International Women's Day 2021
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY - GOES DIGITAL !
Kilcooley Women's Centre has celebrated International Women's Day over the decades, enabling women from across the Borough of Ards North Down to come together for a series of events on the 8th of March each year. This year, due to the difficult circumstances of the pandemic, the centre wanted to continue to mark the day, albeit digitally. The event will include a coffee morning, inaugral session of our Camilla Club reading group, special delivery of treats to each participants home, quiz, raffle and much more.
The Health and Wellbeing Team are using the event to launch the new Digital Reading Group - the Camilla Club. The Group will meet reguarly, with the members supplied with copies of the latest recommendation from the Duchess of Cornwall's Reading Group. It is hoped the group will not only encourage people to fall back in love with reading, but will help address social isolation which many of us are feeling during these difficult times. Limited space will be available on the session, so make sure you book early !. To register, visit the class registration page by clicking this link. If you are new to the centre, you will need to register for an online account first. For existing participants, login using your details, and register for the event using this link
