KWC in Tallin, Estonia
Roberta Gray and Alison Blayney attended the Daphne (EU Justice) Conference and Project Meeting in Tallin Estonia from 27-29 August 2018.
The project 'WHOSEFVA' has produced best practice protocols and training for health care and social care professionals to help them identify and refer signs of elder abuse. The project, which concludes in November 2018, ended with a conference in the Estonian Parliament in Tallin, launched by the Minister of Justice for Estonia, and attended by health/social professionals from project partner countries, including Northern Ireland/UK, Crete/Greece, Latvia, Estonia, Austria and Finland. The project findings will now be disemminated widely and the online version of the training manual is nearing completion. KWC wish to thank the University of Tartu who were project lead for their hospitality, support and guidance during this project. We very much look forward to working with them and the other partners in the future. For more information please visit the WHOSEFVA project page in our International Project portal.
