'Step Up' - European Social Fund
The Step-Up Project - European Social Fund
The Step-Up Project is funded by the European Social Fund. It aims to provide support for those who are unemployed, economically inactive, or those working under 16 hours a week. Through community-based education and training, the project will seek to enhance the employability skills of women and disadvantaged groups, such as carers and those with disabilities (including mental health issues), helping them to gain transferable skills that will allow them to sustain employment opportunities after the project.
The Step-Up Project aims to;
- Empower and enable individuals to set and meet personal and educational development goals.
- Increase the number of people participating in employment-related training such as, social exclusion, social need, and multifaceted economic social deprivation.
- Remove and address barriers to employment-related training
- Help individuals to recognise their full potential and value and assist them in developing their personal and professional skills to gain work experience.
Childcare is available for this project.
